REGULAR DAY SCHEDULE

All Periods

Start today with our standard opening routine:

1. Check your workstation for any signs of damage or vandalism. Immediately report anything you see.
2. Log on.
3. Check the daily agenda and your grade.
4. Keyboarding practice using MasterKey. Make sure you are sitting up straight, keyboard near the edge of the table, all fingers on the home row keys, palms turned in slightly, and eyes on the screen.
5. REMINDER: Do not TOUCH or MOVE the computer monitor (screen).

Topics/Projects — Periods 1, 4 and 5 (7th grade trimester classes)

1. Current unit: Using the Internet for Research. Today’s lesson: Google Keyword Searching.
2. Finish the Google 1 activity sheet from yesterday, i.e. Google your name and note the number of hits.
3. Make-up: Fix your zeros. There are only a few weeks left in the trimester, which means there won’t be many more opportunities to improve your grade. Take advantage of this time.

Topics/Projects — Periods 2 and 3 (8th grade trimester classes)

1. Current unit: Using the Internet for Research. Today’s lesson: Internet Search.
2. Path to the lesson: Technology >> Computers & Internet >> Internet Search.
3. Video.
4. Question & Answer session.
5. Complete the Vocabulary assignment. Print/save the assignment as internet search vocab.
