REGULAR DAY SCHEDULE

All Periods

Start today with our standard opening routine:

1. Check your workstation for any signs of damage or vandalism. Immediately report anything you see.
2. Log on.
3. Check the daily agenda and your grade.
4. Keyboarding practice using MasterKey. Make sure you are sitting up straight, keyboard near the edge of the table, all fingers on the home row keys, palms turned in slightly, and eyes on the screen.
5. REMINDER: Do not TOUCH or MOVE the computer monitor (screen).

Topics/Projects — Periods 1, 4, and 5 (trimester class)

1. J drive — purpose, setup of folders
2. Current unit: Proper Online Personal Conduct. Today’s lesson: Online Safety.
3. Path to the lesson: Technology >> Computers & Internet >> Online Safety.
4. Video.
5. Question & Answer session.
6. How to complete BrainPOP assignments and “print” them.
7. Complete the Activity assignment. Print/save the assignment as online safety vocabulary.

Topics/Projects — Periods 2,  3, and 6 (semester class)

1. Research project overview
2. Pick your top 5 Founding Fathers of the United States
3. In a Notepad file, save your top 5 in a file named “Founding Fathers Choices.” Put a copy of this file in your “turn in” folder and a copy in your “completed” folder.
